Morton Mews involved the subtle handling of the planning department to remove a protective covenant placed on the ground floor when the front and rear mansards were granted permission in the 80s. This covenant prevented the use of the ground floor for anything other than parking cars. Thorough knowledge and full analysis of local & national policy ensured that a ground breaking appeal was won that has changed the use of Mews houses in London. This allowed the creation of a stunning four bed Mews house with outside space achieving the highest £/per sq ft ever achieved to date by a Mews house.
